Free Child Safety Seat Checks – Performed By Trained Volunteers
Safe and Sound, a prevention service of T. C. Thompson Children’s Hospital will be conducting car seat checks at the 'Who Loves Ya, Baby?' Baby Fair, at the Erlanger East Campus.
Trained volunteers will inspect child safety seats for correct use, age/size appropriateness and recalls. Parents will also receive educational materials and hands-on instruction about proper installation. According to the National SAFE KIDS Coalition studies, motor vehicle crashes remain the leading cause of unintentional injury-related death for children ages 14 and under.
The fair will also offer expectant mothers access the latest health information on pre and post-natal health, nutrition and more as well as the newest trends in nursery décor, toys, tote bags, and clothing. Babies R Us will be presenting one lucky mom with a $500 shopping spree.
