Charitable Baby Items – Health Partners Employees And The Girl Scouts Of Southeastern Pennsylvania Collect For Mothers In Need
Health Partners employees and the Girl Scouts of Southeastern Pennsylvania recently celebrated the culmination of the Baby Bundles Employee Campaign. Baby Bundles is a joint initiative by the Girl Scouts and 6ABC, designed to collect new baby items for mothers in need.
Donations included: diapers, diaper wipes, diaper ointment, bibs, washcloths, baby lotion, baby shampoo, baby powder, bottles, baby formula, towels, blankets and clothing. The Girl Scouts packaged the items in bundles for needy babies and then distributed them through social service agencies and religious organizations in the tri-state area. To date, Health Partners employees have collected more than 200 items, which will directly benefit local families in need.
Helping babies get a healthy start in life is a priority for Health Partners, so we were thrilled to support our employees’ request to take on such a worthy campaign, said Robert E. Tremain, President and Chief Executive Officer for Health Partners.
Our employees really stepped up to the plate and generously donated their time and money to collect more than 200 baby items for needy mothers. We are pleased to know that these items will impact at least 20 families in our area, including many of our Members.
