Car Seat Protector –The Original Seatsaver Was The First And Is Still Best Selling
When Tom and Linda McConnell started making rocking horses in the family garage, they had no idea that thirty years later their company, PRINCE LIONHEART, INC., would be one of the leading manufacturers of baby products worldwide.
During Prince Lionheart’s three decades, the company has led the field with creations to help babies grow up happy and safe.
The Baby Wipes Warmer was the first of its kind in the industry and the Original Slumber Bear/Tummy Sleep is the only audio pacifier with actual intra-uterine womb sounds to lull babies to sleep in minutes.
They also invented products to make parents’ jobs easier such as the Original Seatsaver, the first and still best selling car seat protector, and the Infant Dishwasher Basket, the only device available that holds teats directly above water jets
for the most thorough sanitizing.
In 1991, the company opened their corporate headquarters and manufacturing facility in Santa Maria, California, where 60 percent of the product line is produced — a rarity in the juvenile products industry.
In addition, the McConnells were proud to welcome their children to the business in
recent years. Daughter Kelly established a distribution facility for Prince Lionheart UK Ltd. in London, England, and son Michael joined the company’s design department and is responsible for the company’s new packaging and marketing concepts.
Those babies back in 1973, laughing as they rocked on handmade horses, are now having babies of their own. Prince Lionheart is proud to be a part of their families and looks forward to providing helpful products for babies and parents for generations to come.
