What sized baby clothes do you buy for the baby shower?

When you go to buy baby clothes for a baby shower you are confronted with so many possibilities and choices. One of your first decisions is whether you are going to buy natural or unnatural materials. Then you will decide what size of baby clothes you are going to get.

When you attend a baby shower often you will choose to give baby clothes. They always are welcomed and appreciated. Babies definitely need a lot of clothes. The question you may want to ask yourself is – what size do I get? Size becomes important because baby showers often create a lot of clothing in small sizes, which the child will outgrow really quickly. Mothers appreciate receiving a larger size, which she can put away until the child is bigger and need larger sized clothing.

Recently while at a shower, the Mother was really pleased with the wide variety of sizes she had received. She received baby clothes she could use right away and clothes fitting a three year old. When opening the larger sizes it looked funny as they were held up, because they seemed so much bigger than the tinier sizes. She was assured it would not be too long before she would be giving the smaller sizes away and turning to the larger sizes.

Some babies grow faster than others. Therefore giving larger sized baby clothes is acceptable. Everyone wants their gift to be right, or to have it appreciated. Yet, often when you give a smaller sized clothing it often will not get used that much, whereas, when you purchase a larger sized piece of clothing you will find your gift is being utilized long after the others have disappeared.
